Industry in Action 2026 (Perth)
Behind the scenes Perth tourism and hospitality experience
Building on the success of last year's "Serving Up Fremantle", this full-day professional learning experience is designed specifically for VET-in-Schools trainers delivering SIT20122 Certificate II in Tourism and SIT20322 Certificate II in Hospitality.
The day takes trainers behind the scenes at Optus Stadium, Lot 20, Baha and The Hotel School Perth, combining venue tours, guided city walks, a hands-on cocktail masterclass and practical classroom workshops. Along the way, trainers will hear directly from tourism and hospitality professionals about how venues operate, what industry expects from new staff and the career pathways available to students.
Trainers will refresh their industry currency, connect with industry professionals and fellow VET trainers, and leave with classroom-ready strategies to strengthen their delivery.
