Join Us Again for this month’s amazing Speaker Paul Allen on What Just Happened: A look at Motion Reference - This talk explores how motion reference is used to transform raw, chaotic footage into grounded and believable 3D animation. We'll take a look at some movie clips and discuss various aspects from an animator's point of view.

Paul Allen has been a computer animator since 1997, working on major projects like Doom Eternal, Halo: The Master Chief Collection cinematics, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and Jimmy Neutron. He also directed animation for Kings of Atlantis Season 1 on YouTube Red.

Since 2006, Paul has taught at Animation Mentor and currently works as a CG animator at id Software. Join us next month to learn from his extensive animation and gaming experience!
