Event description

Who is this event for?
This webinar is for people who work in the domestic, family and sexual violence sector, and who would like to know more about the application process for the NSW Women's Safety Commissioner's Lived Experience Advisory Group.

The Teams link will be emailed to those who have registered the day before the information session.

A separate webinar will be held for people who have experienced domestic, family and sexual violence, and are interested in applying to join the group.

What will the webinar cover?
During the webinar, you’ll hear a brief overview of what the group will do and how you can support people with lived experience to apply.

You will be able to ask questions via a platform called Slido.

The webinar will be recorded and will be publicly available to watch following the session.

About the NSW Lived Experience Advisory Group

Victim-survivors of domestic, family and sexual violence are invited to apply to join the group.

Group members' insights will inform NSW government policies, services and support systems to ensure they reflect the lived experience of those impacted by domestic, family and sexual violence.

We welcome applications from people with all backgrounds — different ages (over 18), cultures, genders and identities. Diversity strengthens our work, and your unique perspective is vital to creating a future where every voice is valued.
