Information session and Northern Evacuation Route Tour for the Byfield Community

Livingstone Shire Council wishes to invite residents to participate in an information session and guided tour. This tour is an opportunity for the community of Byfield and the surrounding area to engage with the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Livingstone Shire Council to discuss their preparedness in the event of an emergency. 

It will also be a unique opportunity to familiarise with a route that could be utilised during an emergency.

The upcoming tour will commence at the Byfield Hall and will then continue through the ADF area via the supplied bus only. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. 

Positions are limited.

Attendees can also win a Stihl prize pack for their participation on the day which will be drawn during the tour.
