Free Information Session | Victorian Collections: Data Migration

This online information session introduces attendees to Victorian Collections’ data migration service. Session topics include:

• Data migration process, tools, and timeline

• The level of support available from the VC team during migration

• Common considerations and hold-ups to the migration process

• Tips to help with preparation

The session will conclude with a dedicated time for Q&A.

This session is designed for organisations who:

• Are considering using Victorian Collections as their primary Collection Management System (CMS) and have collection data already catalogued in another system

• Are unsure if data migration is the best approach for them

• Are already using Victorian Collections, and have previously catalogued collection data in another system which is not yet in VC

• Have previously expressed interest in data migration

This session is also suitable for organisations who are currently preparing their data for migration to Victorian Collections, and would like a refresher on the process.
