Description

When your child is experiencing big emotions, it can be hard to know what will help. You may be trying to support them, manage the intensity of the moment and stay calm yourself.

Clinical psychologist Dr Linda Campbell from Mind Hive joins us for this webinar. She’ll share ways to support your child through big emotions with more compassion, understanding, and connection.

In this webinar we’ll explore:

  • What can be behind big emotions and meltdowns

  • How to move away from discipline to “detective thinking” when behaviour is challenging

  • How to recognise early signs that your child's emotions are building

  • Practical ways to de-escalate and help your child regulate

  • Ways to strengthen emotional skills over time
