Supporting Your Child’s Development Through Play: Webinar
Description
Play is much more than just fun. It is one of the most important ways children learn, connect, communicate and develop skills. But when your child has disability, their play can often look different. For many families, it can be hard to know how to support their child’s play, and it can even start to feel like another thing to ‘get right’.
Kelsie The Occuplaytional Therapist joins us to unpack the important role play has in child development and wellbeing. They’ll share simple and enjoyable ways to use play in everyday life to support your child’s growth.
In this webinar we’ll explore:
The different ways play can support communication, emotions, regulation, and social skills.
How following your child’s lead can help play be more fun and engaging.
Practical ways to create simple play opportunities in daily life.
How to support play without pressure or needing expensive toys or activities.
