    Event description

Injury Prevention Techniques To Help You Play With Ease.

If you’ve ever felt soreness or pain from playing your instrument, this online workshop is for you! Get to know how your body works from the inside-out using the Franklin Method®. You’ll learn the basics of healthy posture and how to incorporate somatic (aka mind-body) tools into your practice and performance routines to help you feel great while you play and relieve tight muscles afterwards.

The Franklin Method® is a somatic method that teaches the fundamentals of healthy movement using embodied anatomy, gentle exercises, and mind-body techniques. It’s used all over the world in a wide variety of fields, including yoga, dance, Pilates, music, sports, and physical therapy.

As musicians, you can use the Franklin Method® to relieve tension, improve your body awareness, and actually change the way you move on a musculoskeletal level.

You'll learn tips and techniques to:

    • Relieve tight neck, shoulder, and arm muscles.
    • Find your ideal balanced posture while sitting and standing.
    • Play with more effortless technique.

Plus, you'll receive access to the video replay for 30 days after the workshop.
