Rowan has spent years in the field, expertly catching and banding migratory shorebirds. His expertise extends to the last two years, where he's been immersed in the study of foraging and breeding movements of shorebirds and wetland birds in the Ramsar-listed Coorong estuary at the mouth of the Murray River in South Australia.
