Day 2: Hands-On Session Monday, May 19th | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | The Robey, 2018 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60647
A full-day, hands-on cutting, coloring, and styling session. Discover the synergy between coloring and core cutting techniques. Learn how to tailor each method to craft bespoke, balanced shapes that enhance diverse hair patterns and natural textures. Refine your techniques, explore creative color placements, and elevate your craft with guidance from our expert artists. Choose between the two sessions below:

Nicole + Scott
Nicole will demonstrate how haircut shape, curl pattern, and movement inform color application, featuring vibrant copper and red tones with salon-friendly techniques for maximum impact and longevity.

Scott will bring 2025 fashion trends to life through an intuitive cutting approach that blends structure with creativity, adapting to any length, texture or pattern. Together, they’ll empower stylists to craft personalized, fashion-forward looks that enhance each client’s individuality with confidence and ease.

In this hands-on session, Nicole and Scott will explore the connection between precision cutting and intentional color placement to create bold, customized styles.

JC + Erin
In this immersive hands-on session, JC and Erin will guide attendees through the synergy of expert color and precision cutting techniques to create modern, personalized styles.

Focusing on short to medium-length curls and textured hair, JC will demonstrate cross-coloring methods that lift dark natural levels into rich, multidimensional tones using simple, high-impact formulas.

Erin will showcase cutting techniques that blend classic shapes with a modern edge, crafting versatile, wearable cuts that enhance color placement and natural movement
