Event description

In celebration of World Creativity and Innovation Day, join the UNAA Young Professionals Qld for our first speaker event of 2021 - a panel discussion on the technologies and innovations that will be crucial to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

Technological progress is key to finding lasting solutions to some of our most pressing social, economic and environmental challenges, and investment in infrastructure and innovation is a critical driver of economic growth and sustainable development. In Queensland there are a number of initiatives aiming to support innovation, entrepreneurship and start-ups that are using tech to address some of our biggest challenges in achieving the SDGs.

Be part of the conversation around SDG 9 - Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, as industry leaders share from their experience and take your questions! We'll be discussing current barriers to innovation, the technologies that will pave the way to achieve the SDGs, and the thriving start-up space here in Queensland.
