Event description

What do you think flying will look like in the future?

The aviation industry around the world has continued to innovate over the past 100 years to make flying more accessible, more efficient and more affordable, and inventors today show no signs of slowing down as the future of flying continues to transform into the future. With aviation advancing in leaps and bounds communities and organisations are exploring future focused transportation opportunities that will help move passengers around the world.

With innovations coming to life including vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, low orbit space travel, and hydrogen powered planes, the flying experience as we know it currently is being reimagined with technologies such as the metaverse and artificial intelligence. Over the course of an action packed day, the Innovation In Aviation school holiday program with Aviation Australia will see students getting hands-on with a range of challenges and activities to design what the future of flying will look like.
