Event description

Join us for our next event, Innovation Stories, featuring our most famous innovators yet on this speaker series!

We're thrilled to welcome Phil Dumas, CEO of UniKey, who gained national attention on Shark Tank as the first contestant to receive offers from all five sharks. Phil's vision is to simplify access by integrating all your keys into your smartphone, revolutionizing the way we secure our homes and businesses.

Also, joining us is Shawn Seipler, CEO and Founder of Clean the World Global. Shawn's journey began with a simple question: "What happens to leftover soap in hotel rooms?" This curiosity led to the creation of a global enterprise that recycles used soap and plastic amenities from the hospitality industry into life-saving supplies for communities in need. Their impactful work has been showcased on Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from experts, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and connect with fellow innovators. Don’t miss out on this exciting event!

Meet Shawn Seipler
Shawn Seipler -

CEO and Founder of Clean the World Global

In 2009, after countless nights spent in hotel rooms for work, Shawn Seipler stumbled upon a simple yet transformative question: 'What happens to leftover soap in hotel rooms?”. Shocked by the revelation that the hospitality industry was discarding millions of used soap bars each year, Shawn, driven by a deep sense of responsibility, embarked on a remarkable journey, which started with the birth of Clean the World, now a global leader in sustainable environmental and social impact solutions, transforming used soap bars and plastic amenities that the hospitality industry would otherwise discard into lifesaving, essential supplies for communities in need across the globe.

Building on his desire to help individuals reach their full potential, Shawn launched CTW Events in 2012. Whereas Clean the World drives environmental impact through the hospitality industry, CTW Events provides customizable team-building experiences that allow individuals and groups to combine their efforts to empower communities in need and helps organizations reach their corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, sustainability, and governance (ESG) goals.

Shawn’s profound sense of empathy and resolve laid the foundation for Clean the World Global to become what it is today: a global enterprise with the purpose of making the world a better place. Through Shawn’s leadership, Clean the World Global will continue to improve the lives of underserved populations globally and contribute to the protection of the environment for generations to come.

Shawn and Clean the World’s impactful work have been showcased on Mike Rowe’s Dirty Jobs

And featured on the Good Neighbor segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show.  Under Shawn’s guidance, Clean the Word earned the prestigious 2011 Sustainable Florida Award for Best Practices and was named one of the 50 Florida Companies to Watch in 2014.  In 2017, B-Lab recognized the organization on the Best for the Long-Term list and consistently named an Orlando Sentinel “Top Workplace” in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
