Spacecubed's Innovative Society Fund exists to build a stronger culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in Western Australia. Our funding round is now open from the Fund's two separate components - Lotterywest IdeaStarter and Catalyst.

What will we cover in this session?
Through this 30-minute, online session you will have an opportunity to:
1. Discover more about the Innovative Society Initiative and its purpose
2. Learn more about the Fund, including who can apply and how the assessment process works
3. Get insights into how to craft a great application and increase your chances of getting funding

Over the course of the session there will be opportunities to ask specific questions about your initiative, speak to members of the Innovative Society team, and meet other potential applicants.

Who’s is this session for?
This session is open for anyone interested in the Innovative Society Initiative. You do not need to have a current application to attend, and we encourage anyone who is interested in the initiative to join us and learn more.

Want to learn more about the Innovative Society Fund?
Both Lotterywest IdeaStarter and Catalyst are supported by Lotterywest, as part of a 3 year grant to Spacecubed to support the growth of individuals and ideas in WA, and to build a more diverse, resilient community and economy for WA, by creating a pipeline of thriving resilient entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers, and building a thriving, resilient and sustainable Western Australia innovation ecosystem.

Lotterywest IdeaStarter
Provides up to $15,000 to innovators looking to test or validate an ‘early stage’ innovative idea. Funding for Lotterywest IdeaStarter is available for existing Incubator and Accelerator programs run by an eligible not-for-profit.

Catalyst, supported by Lotterywest
Offers grants to eligible not-for-profits of $20,000 – $100,000 for one of two streams of funding, Stream 1 - supports incorporated not-for-profit organisations that want to develop or deliver an initiative to strengthen, progress or grow the innovation ecosystem in WA. And Stream 2 - supports incorporated not-for-profit organisations that want to develop their own innovation capacity/project to deliver better outcomes for the WA community. Initiatives seeking Catalyst funding can be at one of three stages, Scoping, Planning or Implementation.
