Event description

Employee engagement is sometimes referred to as the holy grail for today’s business leader, and for good reason. According to Gallup, a highly engaged workforce means the difference between a company that outperforms its competitors and one that fails to grow.

So what are high performing organizations doing to address the issue?

According to EY and Harvard Business Review research, 89% of executives surveyed said a strong sense of collective purpose drives employee satisfaction; 84 per cent said it can affect an organization’s ability to transform, and 80 per cent said it helps increase customer loyalty.

For the next two parts of our Sustainable Leadership series, Communiteer, in partnership with Macquarie Business School will host webinars, discussing the ground-breaking ways of engaging employees with corporate social responsibility.

Join us for this highly interactive discussion with a panel of experts, to get deeper insights into how leaders are collaborating across the industry to deliver an engaging employee experience.

Innovative Ways of Engaging Employees in CSR:

This webinar, the second part of our partnership with Macquarie Business School, will discuss some of the most recent trends in CSR and the most innovative ways of including employees in the conversation. We will shed light on corporate political activism, and see how companies involve employees in social movements, from Black Lives Matter and #MeToo to The Schools for Climate Strike.

We will also examine the idea of social intrapreneurship and discuss how to work with employee innovation and creativity to address social and environmental problems. The webinar will demonstrate new ways of corporate volunteering, from digital to family, and how some companies are moving beyond an annual day of volunteering.

Facilitated by Communiteer’s CEO, Victor Lee with co-presenter Prof Debbie Haski-Leventhal from Macquarie Business School, see how these new innovative methods of CSR engagement have been working in the real world, with the help of our panellists:
