Little Scientists Online Workshop

Inspire STEM: National Science Week: Glass

Are you ready for National Science Week? This year's theme is Glass: more than meets the eye.
Let Little Scientists help you discover a world of illusions. Explore the world beyond the mirror, where nothing is as it seems. Deep dive into optical phenomena. Discover rainbows and sparkles and learn to spot those everyday optical opportunities. Where does the rainbow come from? What happens when you mix colours of lights? And what is the science behind those optical illusions that flood our social media feeds? How do glasses work?
With an emphasis on practical transfer into early childhood practice, our warm-up to National Science Week invites you to enjoy the ‘spectacle’ of optics.
