Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of music, dance and entertainment as Rachel’s Studio of Dance presents Inspired by Legends - A celebration of the iconic musical legends and songs that we all know and love!

From Queen, ABBA, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson to Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, The Spice Girls and more, this show is packed with incredible music, energy and plenty of nostalgia!

Featuring dancers from Southland’s only Ballroom, Latin American & New Vogue Dancesport studio, this is a true celebration of dance across the generations. From our tiniest 2-year-old Tiny Tots right through to our experienced, award-winning National Dancesport Squad.

And it wouldn’t be a community show without showcasing some of the incredible young talent we have right here in our local community! We are thrilled to welcome guest performances from other talented local kids, making this a show full of variety, energy and plenty of moments to be proud of.

Whether you love to dance, love live entertainment, or simply want an afternoon of fantastic performance and family fun, this is a show you won’t want to miss! Bring the whole whānau, come along and celebrate the legends who have inspired generations of performers!

At Rachel’s Studio of Dance, we believe that dance is more than movement. It is a powerful way to inspire confidence, spark creativity, and build genuine connection.

Since opening in Gore in 1994, our studio has grown from what began as a small, home-based studio into a vibrant and welcoming environment where people of all ages can discover a love of dance.

Whether stepping onto the floor for the very first time or working towards competition goals, our dancers are supported to grow at their own pace, surrounded by a strong sense of family and shared passion. From Tiny Tots through to our adult and masters dancers, every class is designed to nurture confidence, encourage creativity, and build meaningful connections.

Specialising in Ballroom, Latin American, and New Vogue, we are proud to guide each dancer not only in technique, but in developing a love of movement that carries beyond the studio.
