    Event description

Do you run a community group, organisation or program?

Do you only ever get the same people coming to your meetings or events?

Have you ever wondered how to connect with the good in your community to create sustainable change?

    ...

This is the kickstart you need to get yourself empowered to change the way we live, share and connect!

    The workshop covers:

    * What a more connected community looks like and why we need them.

    * Understanding the barriers to getting more people involved

    * How to design better events and experiences so people will be lining up to get involved

    *  Inspiring ideas from communities everywhere on how we can all tackle loneliness and improve social inclusion (while helping the planet too!)

Join our free, interactive workshop with co-founder of Good for the Hood, Jo Taranto. Jo has worked with ABC's War on Waste and Fight for Planet A: Our Climate Challenge and has seen communities all over Australia taking action to make cleaner, kinder and more sustainable choices.

The workshop is interactive and will ask for your participation for the best outcomes, so we would love to see your face, hear your voice or at the very least, see what you type in the comments. All pre course material and the link to join will be sent closer to the event.

This event is an initiative of Wagga Wagga City Council as part of FRESH 2021.
