Description

Are you in or near the Loch, Nyora, Mt Lyall, Poowong or Triholm areas? Do you have passions and ideas about the local environment and land management? Then come and join us for a fun and interactive session exploring local passions and what we can do to enhance the land, water and local environment through community led activities. This event will be facilitated by Landcare legend Jenny O'Sullivan and include a guided tour of the Korumburra Landcare Group's nursery with manager Jim Ahon followed by lunch.

This project is funded by Victorian Landcare Grants Program through Melbourne Water.

The South Gippsland Landcare Network (SGLN) has been connecting people and country in South Gippsland since 1995.

Today our network spans 17 local Landcare groups and more than 500 families who live, farm and care for this remarkable part of Victoria.

Our members are primary producers, hobby farmers, tree changers, backyard gardeners and environmentalists of all kinds — a diverse community that finds common ground in caring for the land.

Together we work to increase biodiversity, support sustainable land management, and build the kind of community where people show up for each other and for the places they love.
