Event description

I am delighted to invite you on behalf of BioTechNZ and the Bioscience Enterprise Programme to our second evening forum in our series of networking events

Guest Speaker: Kiara Cruickshank, Senior R&D Scientist.

Kiara is an experienced researcher who is passionate about molecular biology and biochemistry research. Her focus is on environmental and humanitarian impacts, and she is skilled in molecular biology techniques, genetic engineering, precision fermentation, nano materials, nano-theranostics, preclinical & translational research and spectroscopic & analytical techniques.

For the last 2 years Kiara has worked for Daisy Lab, who believes that there is a better and more environmentally sustainable way to produce dairy proteins. Daisy Lab is using precision fermentation which enables production of identical dairy proteins without the harm to our land, our rivers or our animals. Daisy Lab is on a mission to pioneer precision fermentation technology for dairy protein production.

Come along and be inspired by Kiara with regards to her own personal journey and the journey of Daisy Lab
