Insulin Pump and CGMS Workshop 2025
Event description
This two-day, in-person workshop is designed for Credentialed Diabetes Educators who support, or are preparing to support, individuals living with diabetes who are using—or considering the use of—Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGMS) and Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion (CSII) therapy.
The program will provide in-depth, practical training across a range of key areas, including:
- Overview of CGMS and CSII devices currently available in Australia
- Hands-on sessions focused on interpreting reports and clinical data
- Guidance on initiating and supporting clients through the device start-up process
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage directly with company representatives, explore available technologies, and gain insights into the latest advancements in diabetes management tools.
This workshop aims to enhance clinical confidence and equip educators with the practical skills needed to effectively support individuals using diabetes technology.
Diabetes Educators are eligible to claim 12 CPD points towards credentialing for attending this program if this aligns with their learning goals.
