QDN Members-Only Forum – Integrity of the National Disability Insurance Scheme

This exclusive forum for QDN members offers an opportunity to share feedback that will help shape QDN’s submission to the Joint Standing Committee on the National Disability Insurance Scheme regarding the Integrity of the NDIS.

The inquiry is focused on four key areas, with this session specifically exploring the nature and extent of non-compliance— including fraud and “sharp practices.” These practices may involve unfair treatment or taking advantage of people, such as over-servicing, high-pressure sales, and inappropriate inducements.

The forum will also examine the impact of these issues on NDIS participants and their families. Please note that this inquiry is operating within a short timeframe, making timely input especially important.

Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) is a state-wide not-for-profit organisation of, by, and for people with diverse disability. All our work is focused on disability rights and advocacy. QDN’s work is centred around a strong network of people across Queensland and almost 30 peer support groups which inform, connect, lead, and influence change.

We are a vibrant, active network of influencers, decision-makers, spokespeople, consultants, group members and peer leaders with a drive to make change happen. We also work on projects that align with our vision and mission around important issues in the lives of people with disability. We believe it’s important to work together with communities, services, business, industry and government to lead and influence change.
