BNI Business Decision Makers - Plan to Succeed

WEDNESDAY BUSINESS NETWORKING

We have three professional and fun networking events with booking links below.

We start the month with 1. Virtual Networking opening up to a global stage, followed by 2. In-person networking for the rest of the month.  Once every few months we hold a popular skit "3. Messed Up Murray Express", with everyone from our members to attendee's working together to solve personal and business issues, it's a SELL OUT so book in advance today!

There is only one question for SMB and SME business directors, partners, CxO's and that is can you effort not to turn up?

Wednesday is called hump day for a reason, you're in the middle of the week and smack bang between two weekends .. Rather than feeling in limbo, we spice things up by driving business between business directors, decision makers and leaders over a great networking breakfast. Starting the day with engaging and empowering conversations to drive new opportunities will change your feeling of Wednesdays forever...

Do you want to grow your Business and network in a structured, professional and fun and friendly environment that is guaranteed to deliver referrals that grow your business?

Come along to find out more...

When and Where

Time:
7am start, finishing at 8.30am
Where:
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Melbourne - Flinders Street, 270 Flinders St, Melbourne VIC 3000
What to Bring:
A stack of business cards (~30) to hand out to people you connect with on the day. Be ready to tell us about you with a ~10 second infomercial (elevator pitch) based on who you are, what you do and what you would like to get out of the morning

We have a rapidly growing group of likeminded business professionals in decision making roles that meet every week. The SBM and SME businesses in our community mainly do business with their SME and corporate network.

This is a breakfast and networking opportunity for the members and visitors of our group who meet weekly and pass referrals across many industries to assist in the growth of all.

OVERVIEW

PRE-NETWORKING
Before breakfast, you will be provided some further information about our BNI group. There is never pressure to join or to do business with anyone, it's more about growing everyone’s network for good and reliable businesses. From my personal experience, everyone enjoys catching up, having a laugh, exchanging stories. The opportunities of business naturally flow between our members and guests because of the relationships we form.
BREAKFAST
During the event you will receive a hearty breakfast along with coffee to kick start the day. If you are filling in on behalf of a member who was unable to attend, as they have paid in advance, you will not need to register here as you will be acting on their behalf and receive their breakfast at no cost as a thank you from them.
You'll be greeted, provided info on all our members, and your name tag (we all have them). Either someone from our group or I will introduce you to people we think you'll benefit from meeting as the coffee comes out.
MEETING

We then sit for breakfast as Paul Kingston, our President gives an intro, where you'll be welcomed to the group. You’ll have around 10-15 seconds to introduce yourself with name, business and what you do. eg.

“Thanks for inviting me along today, I'm Bob Smith from Smith Electrical, focused in Domestic and Commercial Electrical work. I’m looking to connect with”

Our Vice President Jake Taylor will discuss the flow of business and the opportunities for other business decision makers to join our thriving business community.

Usually members give a ~60 seconds intro to let you know about their businesses.  HOWEVER today we're scratching the norm and you will get to how all the businesses will resolve the issues both in daily personal and business challenges of our fictional character "Murray".

FEATURE PRESENTATION
Usually we have a 10-minute presentation on one Members business as more of a deep dive.  HOWEVER NOT today, today we allocate this time as the story of Murray continues, things are so messed up we will need the time.  Don't worry, you'll be part of this journey too...

On occasion we run meetings with VVIP speakers which replace this section and sometimes other parts of the meeting. We also run "Stack Day's" where members will run a entertaining skit around how businesses in the room (and possibly include visitors) can help to resolve business challenges.

POST-NETWORKING
After breakfast, you will be provided some further information about our BNI group. There is never pressure to join or to do business with anyone, it's more about growing everyone’s network for good and reliable businesses. From my personal experience, everyone enjoys catching up, having a laugh, exchanging stories. The opportunities of business naturally flow between our members and guests because of the relationships we form.
Q&A
You don't know what you don't know, and the most powerful shift can be when you know what you don't know. Similar when one person you didn't know can change your business.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me before, on or after the day. I hope you enjoy your time with us.
