UTS INCLUSION FESTIVAL
In this interactive workshop you will learn about strategies to foster inclusion and belonging through targeted group activities at student inductions. We will share best practices to combat student isolation and improve engagement throughout the session. Join us for an interactive session to refine your approach to student support.
Outcomes of the workshop include - broader knowledge/understanding of social engineering, tools to enhance orientations and also group work experiences during students' degrees which enhance their connection to peers and foster greater inclusion. All participants have the opportunity to develop, adapt and progress their own practice.
FACILITATORS - DR. SIMONE FAULKNER & DR. JAMES WAKEFIELD, UTS BUSINESS SCHOOL
Simone (Management Department) and James (Accounting Department) are the First and Further Year Student Transition Experience Coordinators at the UTS Business School. They have numerous research projects focussed on student belonging.
