Event description

Hi.  My name is Tanya and I am a Naturopath and Founder of National Clinic of the Year 2021 in Natural Medicine, selected by the Australian Traditional Medicine Society(ATMS).

Gut issues is a specialisation for me.  I had gut issues ever since childhood and it was one of the main reasons I became a naturopath.  I have also invested heavily in education from world leading gut experts & researchers and this is one of the main reasons that I support some very complex digestive gut issues in my clinic and refer my clients to the best laboratories for gold standard testing.

Whether your chronic digestive issues are caused by an overgrowth of bacteria/other species in your small intestine or colon, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), post infectious IBS or anxiety driven IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), a history of antiobiotic use,  functional bowel motility conditions, endometriosis on the colon, celiac disease or primary food intolerances -  those wide ranging symptoms experienced most certainly impact your quality of life.

Whilst investigating what is causing your gut issue is key, most webinars go into IBS and the gut/brain connection however I also delve more deeply into how your gut may be impacting other chronic issues such as infertility, the gut/uterus/female tract connection, chronic urinary tract infections, hormonal imbalances including PMS/PMDD, autoimmune diseases, sinus issues, reflux, food intolerances that may simply be temporary, fatty liver and more.

The American Army are also looking at the gut ecosystem of elite soldiers and how this impacts their perception, resilience and more.  It is now known that that we need gut bacteria more than they need us & that the bacteria colonies in some mental health conditions are different.

This is a thought provoking webinar and a broad discussion on the many impacts of having unresolved chronic gut issues.
