INTERFACE: Where Technology Meets Creativity - Celebrating Collaboration
Event description
“INTERFACE: Where Technology and Creativity Meet”
A collaborative series co-hosted by Emporium Creative Hub and Bendigo Tech Community exploring the innovative and creative intersection of digital and physical worlds.
Part 3: Celebrating Collaboration
This is the culmination of our series, featuring an exhibition of collaborative projects emerging from our region. Through lightning talks and demonstrations, we'll showcase real examples of creative-technical partnerships, including projects potentially sparked during our earlier events. This celebration will highlight the tangible outcomes possible when we bridge the gap between our communities.
Demos & Lightning Talks to run from 7:30 pm.
Corin Lawson, Senior Software Engineer
With two decades of software development under his belt, he’s never lost his curiosity for new technologies. His latest side project took him into the world of GPU programming for the first time, building a WebGPU interface with a healthy dose of help from AI tools to guide the way.
Stef Cola, Cofounder
Stef will unveil the new Bendigo Tech Community brand - a new intentionally retro aesthetic that honours technology's evolutionary journey while making our community approachable and instantly recognisable, like a beacon for those seeking their tech home in Bendigo.
We will share more about collaboration between the Ligantic design team and local technologists to land something worthy of finally being printed on BTC merch (and replacing Stef's hack job logos from Canva 😂).
⚡️ 2 x more Lightning Talk spots available ⚡️

We'll have plenty of pizza and refreshments (including beer) to enjoy while chatting. Whether you're a regular attendee or joining us for the first time, this is a fantastic chance to be part of Bendigo's tech and creative communities.
What to bring: Yourself, your curiosity, and your demos.
