Event description

COA and Moadon Chess Sydney have joined forces to hold the first ever Pesach Intergenerational Chess Tournament!

This event is open for all ages to come and compete or just spectate and enjoy the fun!

Moadon Chess Sydney is a junior chess club in Sydney east, for kids ages 5 and above with Israeli/Jewish background. They meet every Saturday afternoon for a relaxed and fun chess session, catering for beginners and intermediate/advanced groups.

COA is a Sydney Jewish active seniors organisation, which has offered social, educational and life-enriching activities to the community for over 40 years. COA provides regular programs, talks and critical services delivered by volunteers, such as Kosher Meals on Wheels.

Chess is one of the oldest sports, recently gaining a rejuvenating spirit around the world and in Sydney too!

This Pesach, on April 28th, we invite everyone in our community to join the trend. COA members and Moadon Chess juniors will come together for an intergenerational tournament and an opportunity to experience the uniqueness of our culture.

Who will win - the younger or the senior crowd?

Special awards for the winners!

Tournament Participation costs $15. Bring parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles for free!

Light refreshments (Kosher le Pesach) will be served.

Eastern suburb location, exact address will be advised upon registration.
