Event description

COA and Moadon Chess Sydney invite you to the Second Intergenerational Chess Tournament!

This event is open for all ages to come and compete or just spectate and enjoy the fun!

Moadon Chess Sydney is a junior chess club in Sydney east, for kids ages 5 and above with Israeli/Jewish background. They meet every Saturday afternoon for a relaxed and fun chess session, catering for beginners and intermediate/advanced groups.

COA is a Sydney Jewish active seniors organisation, which offers social, educational and life-enriching activities to the community. COA provides regular programs, talks and critical services delivered by volunteers, such as Kosher Meals on Wheels.

Chess is one of the oldest sports, recently gaining a rejuvenating spirit around the world and in Sydney too!

On 28 July we invite our community to join the trend by coming together for an intergenerational tournament and an opportunity to experience the uniqueness of our culture.

Who will win - the younger or the senior crowd?

Special awards for the winners!

Tournament Participation costs $20. Families $35.

Spectator support, parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles for free!

Light refreshments will be served.

COA Krygier Centre, 25 Rowe St, Woollahra.
