Intergenerational Fairness: Hopeful Futures
Event description
This workshop will challenge participants to explore intergenerational fairness, anticipate future possibilities and consider how to take action, using Ōtautahi as a case. In particular we will:
- Use futures tools to extend our world view
- Develop a range of scenarios for an intergenerationally fair city
- Explore a preferred future and a vector of emergent action
We will draw on the work of the UN Summit of the Future, in particular the Pact for Future Generations and consider how our preferred future influences people, systems and leaders. This mahi is grounded in the context of Aotearoa, Te Tiriti and the richness of diverse ways of being and working.
