Dive into Botanical Watercolour Painting with Lucy Gray!

MUST HAVE ATTENDED LUCY GRAY'S INTRODUCTORY BOTANICAL WATERCOLOURS WORKSHOP in order to attend this INTERMEDIATE workshop.

Class limited to 8 students and is strictly for ages 16 years and over.

This 3 hour immersive workshop is a continuation into the art of botanical watercolour painting, and is not for beginners. We will look at some real life samples of plants & flowers while learning the following:

- How to create 3-Dimensionality of petals, branches and leaves with TONAL values

- Understanding the role of light : Painting shadows and highlights

- And complete your own botanical watercolour painting to take home in its own frame, ready to hang!

PLEASE NOTE: ALL MATERIALS ARE SUPPLIED, no need to bring any paints, brushes or papers with you.

Lucy is an experienced Fine Artist and holds a BA(FA) Bachelor of Fine Art. She recently completed her art residency at Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah and spends her time painting in her home studio and teaching others.

IMPORTANT: While there is limited accessibility for wheelchair users, this workshop uses standard height trestle tables only and is setup specifically for group instruction. If you have any learning needs, please contact the host first to confirm if she can meet these needs during the workshop, prior to booking your ticket.

THIS WORKSHOP IS A CONTINUATION OF MY INTRODUCTORY FEEDER WORKSHOP : BOTANICAL WATERCOLOURS. You will need to have been a student of mine at one of these workshops in the past.
