Intermediate Class: Improv Deep Dive

You've completed the beginner's improv course, now it's time to do a deep dive into Improv...We're going to explore a selection of key improv concepts!

Go beyond the surface and revisit core ideas in improv in greater depth to enhance your scene work.

You'll come away with tips and insights that will deepen your understanding of improv and increase your skills as a performer.

This course aims to challenge and inspire you (plus it will be a lot of fun!)

So, what are you waiting for? Dive in!

Concepts we'll explore include...

-Accepting offers - Learning to recognize your scene partner's offers as they're happening in a scene (we can't accept offers if we don't recognize them first). Learning to recognize blocking so we can avoid doing it!

-Platforms - taking your time to set up the scene (there's no need to rush).

-Embracing failure - your mindset matters!

-Being changed/affected. React! Let it matter to you!

-Know each other already to skip the "who are you?" phase and get to the good stuff!

-Jump then Justify - working backwards in improv.

Pre-requisites

It is pre-requisite that you have completed our Beginners Learn to Improvise course. Contact us if you would like to attend and do not meet the pre-requisites.
