Intermediate copper foil workshop - Sep

Join me for a whole day workshop to create your own unique copper foil piece.

Start: 9:30am - 4:00pm (4:30pm latest)

If your curious about glass and would like to give it a go. This workshop is for you. (You may just become as glass obsessed as i)

I will teach you all the skills to make something of your very own.

This is a practical and informative introduction to stained glass work. You will learn the traditional skills of glass cutting and shaping, copper foiling and soldering in a creative and relaxed environment with plenty of individual care and assistance. You will be shown how to make and fix appropriate wire hooks and finally the best method for cleaning your piece ready for display. Please bring any inspo you might have, I have templates you can use or you can create something of your very own design.

Glass can be challenging but you will be given all the guidance you need.

Ages 14+ as we are working with sharp and hazardous materials.

What to bring

Everything is provided for you!

The workshop cost includes all materials required and all tools and safety equipment will be provided. Choosing your own unique glass colours is the best part! You are encouraged to bring any glass, chain or inspo with along. -  you will have made something uniquely yours to take home.

*What to wear
Covered shoes are required in the space. Please ensure long hair can be tied back.

Please be aware that this workshop will place participants in contact with sharps and in the soldering process chemicals that can be harmful if the correct PPE isn't used. Participants who are pregnant or have other medical concerns are recommended to seek medical advice before attending.
