Ready to take the next step with your stitching? Looking to stitch pieces that are less blocky? Or how to outline?
Come learn how to stitch fractional stitches (e.g. ¼, ½, ¾) and backstitch. We’ll look at various ways these stitches are used in patterns, and stitch a design that incorporates them. It’s not nearly as hard as it might appear! Original pattern and all materials provided.
(Attendees should be comfortable with the basic cross-stitch and able to read a pattern.)

Alexandra McKay (she/her)
Alexandra McKay learned cross-stitch and needlepoint as a child, and has been stitching ever since. After relocating to Leesburg, she was inspired by the vibrant local creative community, and loves sharing her knowledge with new stitchers. She is also the founder of ScandiCosi, a small business focused on textile and paper crafts.
