Astrid’s work has been endorsed by KISS, The Cranberries, Richard Carpenter, and she has attracted music heavyweights onto her stage such as Paul Kelly, Ben Lee, Ella Hooper, Felix Riebl and Meg Mac. She has been featured in world media including the BBC World News, Australian Story, and Vogue.
Additionally, Pub Choir has raised over $250,000 for charity since 2018. As a result, Astrid was nominated for 2020 QLD Young Australian Of The Year. She also works as a casual producer for ABC Local Radio, and arranges music for television.
“Watching you work was a revelation and a joy. And it was such a lift singing with all those voices.”
– Paul Kelly
“We loved Pub Choir. Singing along to a banger of a song with a massive crowd of people will always be a life-affirming delight. But what elevated the experience was that director/choir leader/all-round legend Astrid Jorgensen was hilarious.”
