This International Day of People with Disability, the Public Service Commission is excited to invite all public sector employees to an online event with keynote speaker Nas Campanella, ABC’s National Disability Affairs Reporter.Â
Nas is a ground-breaking journalist and advocate for people with disabilities. As the first blind newsreader in the world to broadcast live to air, she has powerful insights to share about accessibility, workplace adjustment and inclusive culture. Nas is a passionate advocate for inclusive education, adaptive technology, accessibility and the importance of empowerment and leadership for people with disability and women. Â
In addition to Nas’ keynote address, you will also hear from:Â
- Kathrina Lo, NSW Public Service Commissioner Â
- Anti-Discrimination NSW, who will be launching their new Workplace Adjustment Case StudiesÂ
This event is a great opportunity to hear about what you can do to improve accessibility and foster inclusion. Join us to celebrate the contribution that people with disability make in our workplaces and learn about ways to become better allies for people with disability.Â
