All Abilities Active

Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre will again be hosting an event for 'All Abilities' in recognition of International Day of People with Disability. Join us for an afternoon of inclusive fun! Enjoy a selection of adaptive group fitness classes, an exciting array of games and activities and tasty food. The afternoon has been designed to engage diverse interests and abilities, welcoming individuals of all fitness levels and all abilities.

• Enjoy a free sausage sizzle and pancakes hosted by Community Groups.

• Free ice-cream provided by the Milky Monster (Gluten Free) ice-cream van.

• Hear community voices from our "Our Stories, Our Strength' storytelling project as part of a partnership with APM Communities.

• A Quiet Zone with sensory equipment will be operating.

• Gain free entry to the event when you acknowledge the event at the front counter upon arrival. It's a great family friendly inclusive all abilities event.

Program

4:30pm- Event Starts

4:30pm onwards- Free Sausage Sizzle ran by 4 Life Skills and Pancakes provided by Lions Club of Harrisdale Piara Waters, and free Ice-Cream provided by The Milky monster (Gluten Free)

4:45pm onwards- Giant Games (outdoor grassed area, near BBQ)

Ability Gym- All ages and all abilities (outdoor grassed area, near 50m pool)

Quiet Zone / Sensory space (Club room)

5:00pm- Official Opening of the event by Mayor Ruth Butterfield, and hear from community voices as they share their stories, supported by APM Communities

5:30pm onwards- Yoga and Clubbercise Taster sessions (All Abilities)

- All Abilities Handball Activity with the Kelmscott Bull dogs

7:30pm- Event Finish
