Join us for a free live stream presentation on International Day of People with Disability, featuring Glenn and Aarthi, Junior Digital Accessibility Analysts at Centre for Accessibility Australia, who have lived experience of disability, as they showcase the use of assistive technology, including VoiceOver on Mac and JAWS on Windows.

Speakers:

Glenn Wilson - Junior Digital Accessibility Analyst

As a legally blind individual who uses a guide dog, Walter, Glenn has a deep understanding of accessibility needs. With a background in education, Glenn has taught various subjects, including manual arts and computing, and holds multiple education-related qualifications. Most recently, he worked as an Assistive Technology Mentor with ILA.

Outside of work, Glenn enjoys amateur photography and woodworking in his home workshop.


Aarthi Gurunathan - Junior Digital Accessibility Analyst, Centre for Accessibility Australia

Aarthi joined CFA Australia in late 2022, and has a Master of Science, in Nursing. Aarthi has a lived experience of disability, having low vision as a result of the eye condition Retinitis Pigmentosa. With this personal experience, Aarthi brings her skills and knowledge to digital accessibility. She is particularly interested in learning more about technology throughout her career.
