International Men's Day Forum, Canberra 2025
Event description
International Men's Day Forum, Canberra 2025
STRONGER TOGETHER: BACKING OUR MEN, YOUNG MEN & BOYS
International Men’s Day (IMD) began in Trinidad and Tobago in 1999 and is observed annually on November 19. While it remains relatively unknown worldwide, it was introduced in Australia in 2003 by Phil Gouldson through the Men’s Health and Wellbeing Association of the ACT, and Australia has since led the way in recognising and celebrating this important day.
The International Men’s Day Forum has been successfully hosted in Darwin since 2020 and is now the largest IMD forum in the country.
For the very first time, the International Men’s Day Forum will be held at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra on Friday 21 November 2025. Running from 8:30am – 4:30pm, this full-day event will unite some of the most inspiring voices in men’s health, wellbeing, and leadership under the theme:
“Stronger Together: Backing Our Men, Young Men & Boys.”
Attendees will gain insights from national leaders, connect with peers, and take part in conversations that drive change for men and boys in our communities.
