The City of Armadale/Armadale Volunteer Services presents Roleystone Theatre’s latest Terry Pratchett’s play –

Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards!
Adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs

Directed by Bradley Towton

The City of Armadale and Armadale Volunteer Services invite volunteers who live or volunteer in the City of Armadale and people with disability (and a companion) to join them as we thank Volunteers for their contributions and showcase the new Roleystone Theatre as an accessible social destination.

Synopsis:

Adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs, in this story the city of Ankh-Morpork (in the Discworld) is under threat from a 60 foot fire-breathing dragon, summoned by a secret society of malcontented tradesmen. Defending the city is the underpaid and undervalued City Night Watch - including a drunken and world-weary Captain, a cowardly Sergeant, a small opportunistic Corporal of dubious parentage...and their newest recruit, Lance Constable Carrot, who is upright, literal, law-abiding and keen. Aiding them in their fight for truth, justice and the Ankh-Morporkian way are a small swamp dragon and the Librarian of Unseen University (who just happens to be an orang-utan).

Refreshments - Free pre-performance nibblies and soft drinks will be provided. The Kiosk and bar will be open at intermission for purchase of additional refreshments (with the bar also open after the show) .

Seating for this event is unallocated. (With exceptions for those with accessibility requirements)

Note - Doors open to the public at 6.40pm for a 7:30pm performance.
