Event description
Each year, on the Thursday before International Volunteer Day, Volunteering WA hosts the annual garden party in the stunning lower gardens of Government House. This is a beautiful event that allows volunteers to connect with each other, and different organisations.
With over 523,000 formal volunteers in Western Australia, International Volunteer Day is a day for mass celebration. Volunteer involving organisations celebrate the contributions of thousands of volunteers who support their programs and services to the community.
International Volunteer Day Garden Party
Date: Thursday 1 December 2022
Event: 4:00pm – 6:30pm
Venue: Government House, Lower Gardens
Arrival: Terrace Road (Garden entry gates are on Terrace Road) directly across from the CPP Terrace Road Parking. You will not be able to entry from St Georges Terrace

Tickets on sale until Friday 18 November, or until sold out
Member tickets: $39.50 plus GST and booking fees
Non-member tickets: $49.50 plus GST and booking fees
The annual garden party is proudly presented by Volunteering WA in the lead up to International Volunteer Day – recognised globally on the December 5th each year.
