Join us for morning tea to celebrate INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY
We have an amazing line up of inspirational women to hear from emceed by local radio presenter Bella Leone along with our inspiring keynote speaker, Ange Clark who will discuss this year's theme #AccelerateAction and how it connects to their various fields. This year the program will be bigger and better than ever with two panel discussions comprised of both inspirational local young and established ladies who are making their mark in the world and will share the challenges and triumphs they have experienced.
About our keynote speaker
Ange Clarke is an advocate, a community leader, and a passionate changemaker whose life’s work embodies inclusion, kindness, and the spirit of bringing people together. Ange has championed causes close to her heart, inspired by her son, Will Clarke, who lives with autism. Through this deeply personal journey, Ange has transformed her passion for inclusion into meaningful action, creating national and international recognition for her efforts. As the founder and CEO of ‘Where there’s a Will’, Ange has built awareness, raised money to create fulfilling work for people living with intellectual disabilities. The inspiring organisation partners artists with cricket bats to paint, that have been prepared by neurodivergent adults, then auctioned off for the charity.

- Tori Henderson - Lake Illawarra High School Captain whose community passion and efforts earned her the Shellharbour 2025 Young Citizen of the Year Award
- Emjae Woods - Proud Young Dhungutti woman whose efforts to empower students connect with community and culture earned her the Shellharbour 2025 Community Capacity Builder Award
- Tiffany Henderson - Shellharbour City Council's Team Coordinator Parks (City West) who is an inspiration to many of our young female apprentices
- Professor Ngaire Brown - Proud Yuin Woman and recent Shellharbour Hall of Fame Inductee known as one of the first Aboriginal Doctors in Australia
- Ange Clarke - our guest speaker will join us again on the panel
- Gemma Silver - IAS Netball head coach who has an extensive background with the sport and now ensures young players receive the guidance and support needed to excel
- Kate Jessep - Shellharbour City Council Executive Director of Community and Culture
- Jacinta Hepperlin - Shellharbour City Council Chief Financial Officer
