Business Chamber South is inviting you to come along and celebrate International Women's Day on Friday, 7 March 2025, at the Southern Sydney Event Centre, Hurstville for a memorable morning celebrating the spirit and achievements of women around the world.

Business Chamber South along with our sponsors, Georges River Council and Club Central, are thrilled to present the International Women's Day Breakfast.

This year's theme, March Forward, embodies the relentless journey and progress of women in various fields as well as showing our commitment to continue to support and fight for for equality for women in the workplace, at home and in society. We are honoured to welcome our guest speaker, Olympian Rachael Gunn also known as 'Raygun', who will share her inspiring story and insights.

About Dr Rachael Gunn "Raygun"

Meet Rachael Gunn, affectionately known as ‘Raygun’—a powerhouse in the breakdancing world and a beacon of self-expression.
Raygun has not only dominated the global stage, securing victories at the Oceania and World Breaking Championships, but she also made history by competing at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Her electrifying performances have inspired countless individuals to pursue their passions fearlessly.
But Raygun’s talents extend far beyond the dance floor. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies and enlightens young minds as a lecturer at Macquarie University. Her academic achievements and dynamic teaching style have left an indelible mark on her students, encouraging them to think critically and embrace their unique perspectives.
Since her remarkable journey at the Paris Olympics, Raygun has become a relentless advocate for self-expression. She passionately champions the idea that embracing what makes you unique is a powerful force against criticism and societal expectations. Her story is a testament to the strength that lies in individuality and the incredible impact of staying true to oneself.
Raygun’s inspiring story empowers women to be their authentic selves, no matter the obstacles they face.
