International Women's Day Talk: Imposter Syndrome in Medicine
Event description
Join SWIM for our annual International Women's Day talk.
The theme for this year's talk is "Imposter Syndrome in Medicine: Overcoming Self-Doubt and Thriving". Imposter syndrome refers to a feeling of inadequacy that occurs despite one's achievements and is reported more frequently in female physicians. Tackling this phenomenon and reducing our self-doubt is crucial to thriving within the medical profession.
Tickets are FREE but we will also be collecting donations for “Dress for Success", an organisation that gives unemployed women access to the tools they need to seek employment and financial independence.
