Intersex Awareness Day Yellow Tick workshop training for Community, Allies and Friends

In honour of Intersex Awareness Day the City is providing Yellow Tick Intersex Awareness Training.  The training is presented by Intersex Human Rights Australia (IHRA) and delivered by a person with a lived experience of being intersex.

Someone who undertakes this training will:

• Have an accurate idea of what intersex is and be able to elucidate it to others
• Understand a range of issues that affect the intersex population in Australia.
• Be able to engage with intersex people with due sensitivity and understanding.
• Take meaningful and deliberate actions as an intersex ally.

This training is targeted at community, friends and allies who live in, work in or visit the City of Sydney Local Government Area. 

If you are a worker in the City or provide service to the City, we are providing a separate training for you.
