Event description

Soak up the sun and have some intersex fun with us at Haig Park from 1-4pm for our community picnic day. Chill beats, tasty eats and a few outdoor activities to welcome spring and celebrate Intersex Awareness Day with the AGA Intersex staff team.
The fun continues with a BBQ dinner and panel over at the Salthouse Community Centre from 5pm-7pm, so don't miss out on this jam-packed program.

This event is a space for all intersex, trans, and gender-diverse people, as well as their friends and families! All are welcome!

We encourage all who come to events wear a facemask and are double vaccinated (and where possible have received your booster shot) unless you have a medical exemption.

A Gender Agenda (AGA) works to support and adovcate for the intersex, trans and gender diverse community. We acknowledge the important role that partners, family members and allies play and these people are all also welcomed as part of our community.

AGA is a unique community organisation actively engaged in increasing public awareness and understanding of intersex, trans and gender diversity issues. In addition to training and education, we provide advocacy and support services, information and resources and are actively engaged in human rights and law reform. We also host a regular calendar of community events, which aims to provide social and wellbeing support to our members.
