Participants have the opportunity to learn about Aboriginal weaving, how, when and why with the opportunity to create several weaving keepsakes. All materials, Ecco dye fibers are provided.

We warmly invite you to join us for a very special evening as we officially launch Miti Nukang Ltd and open our Cultural Resurgence: Cultural and Wellbeing Exhibition.

Miti Nukang, meaning Little Women in Awabakal language, has grown from many years of cultural programming, relationships, learning and community-led work. This launch marks an important new chapter as we celebrate where we have come from and create space for what comes next.

At the heart of the evening is Cultural Resurgence, our annual exhibition celebrating the strength, creativity and cultural knowledge held within our communities. The exhibition brings together cultural practice, wellbeing, connection and story, recognising the important role that culture plays in strengthening identity, families and community.

The evening will be an opportunity to gather, connect and celebrate the people, partnerships and community who have helped bring Miti Nukang to this moment.
