Dee Brooks - Through her down-to-earth style, Dee Brooks brings people together in dynamic ways to realise and engage the full potential of their networks and communities. Dee is an Intentional Nomad who has traveled and worked in over 20 countries. Based on two decades of grassroots work, her work has inspired people at hundreds of events and workshops worldwide where she offers community engagement and development training and also provides professional co-design, facilitation and keynote addresses for conferences, forums and events.

Lee Griffiths
- I have a passion for community and always have, this is why I do the work I do, facilitating ABDC training, workshops and strategic planning. I have spent the last 14 years working in local government and the not for profit sector creating the conditions for government and organisations to walk along side community to strengthen outcomes across Australia and the UK.

From my grassroots roots voluntary work to my previous leadership positions, the golden thread has always build on recognising the strengths, assets and opportunities communities already have to bring about the change they want.

Vic Tyler - I am an educator and trainer I established and managed a tertiary college known as “Art and Pottery School”. I established a primary and secondary school” Fern Valley Montessori School” I am a current Director of “Kieran and Matt’s Place Ltd’ a not for profit that manages a group home that uses self-management principles and focuses on Person Centered Practice and active support to achieve goals and outcomes.

I have completed the Masters of Health Science (Developmental Disability) with The University of Sydney with major studies in Mental Health and Disability. I have experience in preparing Behaviour Support Plans and Support Coordination and client assessment to enable a good life and to reduce restrictive practice. I have a passion for inclusion of people who are marginalized. Empowering and enabling community has been a major driver throughout my life journey.

Kodei Brooks - Kodei was previously a qualified baker and pastry chef and is a big fan of getting to know people. He loves to have a yarn, learn new things and generally enjoys being in the company of others. Kodei’s main interest is learning and he considers himself to be a perpetual student of life. His role in the organisation is broad and he could find himself doing anything from administration support of the community building team to reviewing policies and procedures from a Next Stage perspective to strengthen the organisation, and supporting the NDIS team with their compliance needs.

You will often find Kodei gathering relevant information from community development members to upload and create events on their ticketing system or creating content for the online course delivery platform. The topic of Next Stage Organisations fascinates Kodei and he finds that working horizontally has been a way that he has worked naturally, even within the top-down structures of his past. Kodei enjoys a good, deep dive into philosophical conversations about the structure of systems. Kodei believes that to be able to work within, research and understand better the ways of working for the future is both intriguing and exciting.
