Fort William Bike Shed Workshop
An Introduction to Bike Maintenance
Learn the basics of taking care of you bike to help it last longer. In this session we will to cover:
Essential supplies
Cleaning your bike
What to carry when riding your bike
Completing a safety check of your bike
Puncture repair (time permitting)
Please bring your own bike to this session. This will allow you to gain a greater understanding of the components on your bike and the confidence to maintain it between services.
Cost: Tier price system. We ask that you pay what you can afford and what you feel the workshop will be worth. Bear in mind, the more you pay the more courses we can run in the future.

If the workshop is more than you feel you can afford, please get in contact. We have funding available to offer free spaces. These spaces are for anyone who cannot afford the course, however, we are especially looking for people who feel they will be able to reduce their transport costs by attending this workshop (eg. before I drove to drop the kids of at school at payed X amount per week on fuel, but this workshop would give the confidence to cycle with the kids to school and save me Y amount on transport costs).
