Borrow Free eBooks & Audiobooks – An Introduction to BorrowBox

ABOUT THE CLASS

Did you know you can borrow eBooks and audiobooks for free from your local library, straight onto your phone or tablet?

Join us at Lairg Library for two relaxed, beginner-friendly sessions introducing BorrowBox, the free library app available through High Life Highland Libraries.

Thursday 5th November + Thursday 12th November 2026 , 1pm - 2pm

Over the two one-hour sessions, we’ll take things step by step and show you how to:

• Download and get started with the BorrowBox app

• Find eBooks and audiobooks you might enjoy

• Borrow, download and return books

• Keep track of your loans and reservations

• Get help with setting up or using your library account

Don’t have a High Life Highland library card yet? That’s no problem — we can also help you find out how to join the library and get started.

These sessions are suitable for complete beginners, so you don’t need to be confident with technology. Bring along your smartphone or tablet if you have one, and we’ll help you get started.

Delivered in partnership with Lairg Library and High Life Highland.

This class is funded by HTSI.
