Intro to Flogging
Event description
Studio of Secrets is excited to present a full day of flogging classes with renowned Impact Top, Cam E Leon.
Beginning the day at 10.30 am, Cam will be presenting Intro To Flogging. Flogging is an impact play technique using one flogger on a partner. During this introductory class we will discuss:
This class will follow Cam E Leon’s flogging progression of:
- Flog the air
- Flog an object
- Flog a person
There may be the opportunity to flog another person during this class. Part of the learning about flogging is learning to both give and receive. It is ideal if you bring a person to pair up with for this activity. There is no guarantee nor requirement that people who don’t know each other will get to partner up.
Consent underpins kink practice. You must have explicit, enthusiastic consent from a person to do kinky things with them. Consent is informed, ongoing and enthusiastic. We will discuss the importance of consent as part of our class.Â
No part of this class is compulsory. Participants are welcome to opt out at any stage.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own flogger or borrow one from a friend.
Another option is to buy a good quality introductory floggers, they cost about $120:00. Recommended introductory floggers are at Lucrezia and De Sade in Fitzroy or Eagle Leather in Collingwood. They are available in a variety of materials, colours and sizes.
ABOUT CAM_E_LEON:
Cam_E_Leon loves impact play and has been consensually hitting bottoms for the past decade. Flogging is the area of impact play that he loves the most and he practices most days. He has played publicly at a variety of Melbourne kink events including Splinter, Provocation and Fantastic where crowds (may) have enjoyed his connecting and creative impact techniques.Â
Cam_E_Leon’s teaching style is dynamic and interactive. A hands-on learner himself, Cam_E_Leon has spent over twenty years learning and then teaching practical skills outside of kink including martial arts and trades. Participants can expect to be taking part in hands-on practice multiple times in a class. He breaks skills to be taught down to specific micro-skills then teaches these progressively, leading to heightened skill development. He has taught introductory and intermediate impact play one-on-one and in skill share formats to unanimously positive feedback.
